The Grange de Thomas, in the heart of the landscaped grounds of Les Granges Hautes, in the Périgord Noir 9km from Sarlat, is an ideal departure-point for visiting the prehistoric sites of the Vézère valley (such as Lascaux and around Les Eyzies), as well as the magnificent Dordogne valley and its medieval villages (Beynac, La Roque-Gageac, Domme).
   Facing due south, with honey-coloured stone walls, this converted barn now houses two duplex gîtes (both 50 sq.m. in area) - adjoining each other but with separate entrances. Each can accommodate 2 or 3 people.
