The timbered Moulin du Porteil is a former walnut mill of XVth centtury. It lies in a zone officially listed as an "Historic Site", between Le Bugue and Les Eyzies. Open all the year round.
3 elegant guest-rooms (non-smoking), roomy and very comfortable, are on the 1st floor of the mill. Two of them have a large wooden terrace where you can relax and enjoy the view over the tree-shaded grounds, which cover one hectare (2½ acres). |

Each bedroom has its own bathroom, with towels, bath-tub and private toilet.
Our guests can choose to have breakfast (home-made bread, hot drinks and fruit juice) either in the mill’s main room or on their bedroom terrace, facing the grounds. During the day, a small living-room in the mill is reserved for our guests, where they can watch TV and consult our tourist guides to help organise the trips they plan during their stay. Shared fenced swimming pool 12m x 6m with paddling pool. children's games. |

| The mill has opened in May 2008 a small restaurant "Couleur Café", offering a traditional cuisine in an original setting. Shops, restaurants and markets 3 km away. Sarlat 25km, Périgueux and Bergerac 45 mn away. |

| Reduced rates for stays of a week or more: -10%. Available on request: meals out of season and Picnic baskets. Extra bed can be supplied: 15 €. Cots for babies up to 3 years old: free of charge. Only well-trained pets are permitted: 3 € a day. Local tax extra. Payments: cheques or cash (credit cards not accepted). English and Spanish spoken. |
